Massage Therapy

Emotional distress and pain are stored in the body.  The clearest evidence of this is muscle knots.  Therapeutic massage safely and effectively reduces tension in the body, which activates the healing process.  The body's chemistry changes as it relaxes, stress hormones significantly decrease, and mood-enhancing hormones increase.  Massage can be received fully clothed or covered with appropriate draping.

Potential Benefits:

  • Reduce anxiety and depression

  • Improve sleep

  • Improve mood and concentration

  • Gain self-esteem

  • Develop optimism and a sense of well-being

  • Enhance feelings of calm and relaxation

Reiki Treatment

Energy Therapy

Trauma can negatively affect our body's energy system.  Energy therapy focuses on healing the body's energy system, which then helps to heal the physical and emotional aspects of our body.  Energy therapy practitioners are trained to assess energy problems and then do non-invasive interventions to help balance and repair the energy system.  Energy therapy is received fully clothed.

Potential Benefits:

  • Recover from traumatic experiences

  • Address grief/loss issues

  • Reduce stress, promote well-being

  • Address illness, pain and health challenges

  • Change beliefs that hold you back

  • Create a sense of balance and peace

Bowenwork works to restore balance in the autonomic nervous system.  Healing can occur only after the nervous system shifts from flight/flight/freeze mode to rest/relax/repair mode.  Bowenwork is a catalyst for that shift.  A Bowenwork session helps reset your nervous system and allow the body to heal.  Bowenwork can be received wearing light-weight clothing.

Potential Benefits:

  • Relief from back pain and sciatica

  • Relief from digestive and bowel problems

  • Improvement of fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome

  • Relief from neck and shoulder problems

  • Improvement of respiratory problems and hay fever

  • Faster recovery from traumatic brain injuries

  • All over balancing of the nervous system
